An upcoming Boutique Hotel chain centered on sustainable living:  spread over a highly-vegetated and contoured area of 4 acres, the design process involved intensive innovation in terms of value-engineering and building materials and methodology.

The challenge was to build around the existing trees without cutting down any and developing a design language that combines the local tropical elements with contemporary architecture. This was achieved by using steel as the main structural material and  adding character by the use of locally available basalt stone, reed sheets for false ceiling and galvalum sheets for facade cladding.

The masterplan involved determining the most appropriate locations for the amenities, services and guest rooms, making sure that the movement and circulation is convenient and functional in all weather conditions.
